This condo was very comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is upgraded and the furnishings fit the space nicely giving it a light, airy feeling. The condo is in close proximity to App State where my daughter is attending school. It's a quick 20 min drive to the college.

My only nit-pick is that I would suggest that the owner update the TV's in the condo.
Many guests now, would like to use apps on smart tv's to watch content on the internet. These tv's were too old and did not have this option. Other than this minor thing, we enjoyed the condo.
(The big Maple tree will soon block the great view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck. It's a beautiful tree, but the view is much better. May be time to top the tree.)

This was a well-kept condo with room for a view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only suggestion I have is to replace the scatter rugs with the type that has a rubber backing. We took them up rather than risk falling.

The property is beautiful and centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one suggestion I would make is for the owner to provide additional instructions for operating the TV in the living room. The current instructions only tell the guests how to turn the TV on and off but not how to operate the cable box to change channels, etc. It is a bit confusing as there are two remotes that control each function.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the condo. The bedrooms and baths were a good size and the living/dining area was quite comfortable for 4 people. The only issue we had was with the electric stove because the burners were uneven. The view from the deck was spectacular!

There needs to be instructions on how to use the TV. There were 2 remotes and it was difficult to use. Also, the gas fireplace did not turn on easily and when it did it smelled like gas so we left it off the entire time. Otherwise, this was an extremely comfortable unit with a beautiful view.

The property was excellent; it was well equipped with comfortable and stylish furnishings, excellent deck seating, and fabulous views of Grandfather Mtn. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly and we were extremely pleased with not only the property but also your services. Each of your employees treated us with efficient service, professionalism, and friendliness.
Given how pleased we were with all that, it is most regrettable that your company maintains a policy of taking a ($300) security deposit by credit card then returning said deposit by check up to 45 days later. In my view this is an abusive business practice and leaves a very distasteful experience as a parting shot. In our high tech world where nearly all business transactions occur with a click of the mouse, why do you insist on holding customers money for a month and a half rather than returning it to their credit accounts in a timely manner? The answer seems obvious and insulting: you want to float my money for your benefit by padding your bank account for 45 days.
I think it would be fair as soon as the inspection is completed, if no damage was done, to credit my account immediately. What could possibly be your rationale for keeping the customer's money for so long, then returning it via check? That is such an antiquated and archaic practice that I find it to be coercive. I believe the obvious answer is that you intentionally make it so aversive by comparison to your $35 insurance that it forces customers to buy the insurance, which I did not want as I consider it unnecessary.

This property not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. The unit was well-
equipped, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The scenery over which our unit looked was spectacular. Because we were renting for a month,it truly became our home away from home. The welcoming call from the unit owners was a wonderful touch that began our stay on just the right note. All in all, we were extremely pleased with all aspects of the property.
The time we spent in the High Country was wonderful. There was so much to do and to see. Foscoe does a wonderful job of assuring the quality of the rental property. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and would have no hesitation recommending this property and the Foscoe Rental Management Company to our friends.
