Tucked Away is a beloved family cabin that has been a place where family and friends have gathered, laughed, reconnected, and made memories. Now, this family retreat is opening its doors to you.
You'll find a warm and inviting space featuring a main-floor primary bedroom (queen), a guest room (twin beds), and an open-air loft with a queen sleeper sofa. Enjoy a wood-burning fireplace, Apple TV, washer/dryer, and a private fire pit along a sweet little mountain spring.

Tucked Away makes it easy to settle in and enjoy a relaxing mountain vacation—or use it as a home base for exploring all that the area has to offer. Located off Hwy 105 between Boone and Banner Elk, you're only minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls, and Appalachian State University.
The cabin is also conveniently located near several winter sports options, including snow tubing at Hawksnest, as well as skiing and snowboarding at Sugar Mountain, Beech Mountain, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.

Location: This log cabin is located off of Hwy 105, in the Foscoe area, and centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.
