We thought the living room couches and chair were pretty dated and should be replaced soon. They were painting outside of building and were pretty noisy. Wished we were notified. Condo is pretty noisy from upstairs unit. Since this is a foscoe rental we wished we could use the pools and workout rooms even if we had to pay a small fee. They never seemed that busy especially in fringe seasons.

Everything was good except we couldn't take a shower in the second bathroom. I am 5'9 and my husband is 6'2. It is ridiculous not to have a shade/curtain on the window in the bathroom.

This property shows it's age. Need some more updating. Instructions for operation of AC unit need to be clearer. Need to provide coffee filters since this style coffee maker is not a popular as others we have used.

It was a very lovely condo - very tastefully decorated. Only have a couple of negatives. The towels in the smaller bathroom had a very musty smell. No problem in the master bath. Also, you may want to have the owner spray some fabric deodorizer on the sofas. They had a kind of body odor to them. Found that true of the bed covering in the master as well. This condo was very comfortable place to stay. The kitchen is upgraded and the furnishings fit the space nicely giving it a light, airy feeling. The condo is in close proximity to App State where my daughter is attending school. It's a quick 20 min drive to the college.

My only nit-pick is that I would suggest that the owner update the TV's in the condo.
Many guests now, would like to use apps on smart tv's to watch content on the internet. These tv's were too old and did not have this option. Other than this minor thing, we enjoyed the condo.
(The big Maple tree will soon block the great view of Grandfather Mountain from the deck. It's a beautiful tree, but the view is much better. May be time to top the tree.)

We very much enjoyed our stay this weekend! I wanted to offer just a little bit of feedback, not at all negative, just pointing out a few items for your information. However, overall we were extremely satisfied and do plan on staying again sometime.
1. The blinds were very dusty. Especially in the master bedroom

We had a perfect weekend. Amazing view, great beds, easy access to condo from parking lot. Loved that we were so close to great hiking--but also an easy drive into Boone for dinner. We look forward to returning!

This was a well-kept condo with room for a view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The only suggestion I have is to replace the scatter rugs with the type that has a rubber backing. We took them up rather than risk falling.

The property is beautiful and centrally located. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The one suggestion I would make is for the owner to provide additional instructions for operating the TV in the living room. The current instructions only tell the guests how to turn the TV on and off but not how to operate the cable box to change channels, etc. It is a bit confusing as there are two remotes that control each function.

We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the condo. The bedrooms and baths were a good size and the living/dining area was quite comfortable for 4 people. The only issue we had was with the electric stove because the burners were uneven. The view from the deck was spectacular!

There needs to be instructions on how to use the TV. There were 2 remotes and it was difficult to use. Also, the gas fireplace did not turn on easily and when it did it smelled like gas so we left it off the entire time. Otherwise, this was an extremely comfortable unit with a beautiful view.

The condo is attractively decorated, and the view of Grandfather Mountain and surrounding area is superb. I selected this rental because it was advertised as wheelchair accessible. While I do not use a wheelchair, I do have mobility issues and appreciated the lovely walk-in shower with built-in seat in the master bedroom although I did find the floor a little slippery when wet and was glad for the sturdy bars to hang onto. The birdseed from the feeder on the porch above falls down to the stack of white chairs. I wiped them off and moved them to the other side of the porch off the master bedroom. The Birds that eat the seed also poop. No surprise, but the railing takes the brunt of it. None the less. I could have sat on that balcony and took in the view for a solid week. Thank you!

This property not only met our expectations but far exceeded them. The unit was well-
equipped, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The scenery over which our unit looked was spectacular. Because we were renting for a month,it truly became our home away from home. The hot water was not consistently available. The breaker had to be set and reset to have water. After hiking in rain and mud, one wishes to have a hot tank to come home to. It was not a matter of using too much. It would not be there after being gone. After resetting, it would be a half hour and all good. Husband said could be heating element blowing the breaker.
