The dishwasher gave us a few problems.
The stove needs some attention (oven doesn't heat evenly and at least one of the burners is very slow to heat.
There was only one set of sheets for the master bedroom and the fitted sheet didn't fit properly. Deeper pockets are needed so they don't keep slipping off.
The second bathroom needs a small cabinet or vanity or shelf to put some toiletries on. There is also no place to hang a couple of towels.

Should check unit before guest check in, the roof had been replaced and deck was filled with roofing debris, could see deck below had same problem. But were very prompt in sending really nice chap to clean it up for us. Also helped us figure out why TV wouldn't work, box was getting was blocked from signal. Other than that unit was perfect most amazing view. Would and will definitely rent unit again. Many Thanks!

The condo was exactly what we needed for 2 families to be comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some simple things. Location was fantastic, close to everything but far enough away it was quiet and not "in the middle" of things!

Everything was great. Very clean and well maintained . Love staying at Echota.
The only suggestion I would have for this unit is a clock somewhere in the living room so I don't have to carry my cell phone everywhere. The only clock is the microwave in the kitchen. When on vacation I want to leave my cell phone in my purse and have some peace & quiet.
Everything was very good and nice and quiet. Lovely weather and a nice cool spell while here!

This is our third year renting at Echota and this was our least favorite property. The furniture was very large and there was too much of it everywhere, we felt very cramped with little space to put any of our things. For example, there was a wine rack in the master bedroom that took up alot of room that we could have used to store our luggage, etc. Some of the kitchen utensils looked a little bit worn out and there were even loose potatoes being stored in one of the cabinets. We loved our stay at Echota! The property is beautiful. The unit we rented had an amazing view. One comment for this owner is that the living room furniture is very uncomfortable. It's slippery, which I realize is a weird description. With the TV up so high, the layout of the furniture, and the fact that you had to work not to slide right off it, it was uncomfortable to hang out in that room and watch TV. We spent most of our time outside so it was really fine, but we were hoping to have a family movie nigh

We loved our time here. The open concept from the kitchen to the living room was very nice. The kids had plenty of space with the loft having so much room. Only issue was with the living room furniture. It's outdated & worn out. Time to buy a new couch & love seat!! When you set down it feels like you are about to sit in the floor. Beds were great & the view was awesome!! We would definitely stay here again.

This was our third time staying in this unit. Obviously we have been pleased with it and still are. The couches are starting to show some age though. Also the bed blanket in the queen bedroom was extremely worn and the shower curtain showed some mold it looked like. Still, this unit is very nice and well worth the price. Thanks

We have rented in Echota for over 10 years each summer for 1 or 2 weeks (my parents have rented for about 15+ years for 3 mo a summer), and the property is beautiful, the pool is always great and no complaints about the property. Thank you for bringing our 2 boxes to the unit for us before we arrived. The unit is fine for us, but having rented this unit for at least 3 years now, we can say it needs a deep cleaning and dusting. The sofas and chair in the living room appear not to have ever been cleaned.

Unit is non-smoking but unit below is not. Could not use the beautiful deck and Grandfather Mountain view when people below were smoking on their deck, mostly at "cocktail time".
Kitchen well equipped except for plates; only 7 dinner size and 7 salad size. Unit sleeps 6 and if you cook in you are washing plates after every meal rather than stacking in dishwasher after 2-3 meals. Hauling trash from unit to dumpster location was a Echota turnoff for us as was no recycling on property.

Although unit was clean, it was really, really dusty as if no one had been there in a while, or at least, it had been cleaned a long time ago. Bedding was very dusty. Coffee maker does not work. But well maintained and we would rent it again.

We really appreciated having the indoor pool and fitness center on property. Our greatest concern was that there was not internet access in the unit. This came as a complete surprise as we just assumed that in today's technological environment internet would be included. My husband spent several hours at Panera and then at the clubhouse on a different day to do the work he needed to do. It was frustrating.

Upon checking in, we noticed several dead flies on the floor and counters. After vaccuuming them up, we pulled out the couch and chair nearest to the window wall and found about 50-60 more underneath. Also, the window sills of the high windows were covered in insect bodies.

the kithchen supplies in this unit lacked serving or mixing bowls and platters and a cutting board large enough to carve a roast or family size steak. Also, the master bath is sorely in need of a "grab Bar" at the entrance to the spa tub. The situation, as it is, is dangerous for senior and/or long term renters. Also, considering this unit is meant to accomodate up to 8 people, the guest bathroom is sorely inadequate. There should be a towel ring on either side of the sink for hand towels and at least a

Entire unit very dusty. Appears clean, but really needs a real cleaning. Front door lock very difficult to work with the keys. Can be done, but it is a pain. Other than that, all was fine.
