Description: Situated atop a mountain, at Echota on the Ridge, is this lovely 3-bedroom, 3.5-bathroom split-level condo (stair access only). With two levels of living space and two decks to enjoy the fresh mountain air and mountain view, the layout of this condo is one of its greatest features. The main floor features the fully stocked kitchen, living room with cozy gas log fireplace, primary bedroom and bathroom (double sinks, large soaking tub, shower stall) and half bath. The primary bedroom is spacious and inviting with the mountain view and access to the deck. The two other bedrooms and bathrooms are located downstairs as well as another deck to enjoy nature and fresh mountain air.

There was a slight smell of propane gas around the fireplace during the entire stay. The air conditioner broke down during the stay and required waiting a day and a half for it to be repaired. The blinds were removed from the living room windows where it appeared recent work, had been done on them and left on the floor in the living room. there was an infestation of spiders in the downstairs hall bathroom, which required us to buy spray and treat the doorways. The downstairs hallway bathroom tub was clogged

We will come back and recommend this property to anyone to rent or buy. It is a beautiful complex in a peaceful setting, but still so convenient to get anywhere in the area. We were so impressed with the condo, amenities, and grounds. Absolutely beautiful!

This is a beautiful condo with views from each bedroom..I think it may be my favorite if you have 6 people.That said , there are a few minor suggestions for improvement. The downstairs was a little cold which was fine for sleeping but a little uncomfortable at other times. One bedroom downstairs could use a dresser and a mirror since the bathroom is not connected to that bedroom.That would greatly improve its comfort.The living room needed one more chair if you have 6 people.The kitchen was well stocked and

The downstairs was extremely cold all the time regardless what we had the heat on upstairs but other than that, very cute place and we enjoyed our stay.
Also, there should be a warning about the fireplace, once we finally got it on, we went to move the screen to turn it off after a while;it gets extremely hot and got burned. No big deal for us but for children/other people it may be a bigger issue. Thank y'all for everything!

I really enjoy staying at Echota condos. This is my second consecutive year. I was pleased with everything except how the kitchen was equipped. I was there for two weeks so using the kitchen for most dinners in was important. There were 4 sauté pans but only one was usable as the Teflon finish was so badly scratched. A larger pasta pot would be helpful. Most of the rentals I've had in the Boone area over the past fifteen years were equipped with a crock potso helpful when you plan to be out most

The downstairs needs to be heated properly. A space heater does not heat the entire downstairs floor. This was a huge problem for us since it was extremely cold during our visit.
If the owner lists the property to accommodate seven people, then the condo should be able to seat seven people to eat. It did not. It only had seating for six at the table and no bar stools.

For the most part the property was nice and well equipped. We were disappointed that neither of the seats in the couch reclined, the fireplace didn't work and the main balcony only had seating for 2 people (so additional people had to stand while trying to enjoy the view). Reported problems with the couch and fireplace right away but were never fixed.

We had trouble with the internet doing down several times, and found out that the trouble was with the router. Owner was going to have to install a new one. By that time, though, it was time for us to leave for home. But it was a great condo, and a great development with all the amenities.

There are not enough forks. We had to eat in shifts because there are only 6. Kitchen knives are very dull and could use sharpening or replacing. The bedding was adequate but there were no sheets provided for the pull out couch and we had two kids sleeping on it.

We had another wonderful stay and will be back.

The downstairs ensuite bathroom is very small and there is no where to put toiletry items. A shelf/shelves over the toilet would help a lot.

The living room needs more seating, basically there are only 3 comfortable seats, 4 if you count the middle seat on the couch, which no one wants to sit on. Having to use the dinning chairs to watch tv or talk is very uncomfortable.

Both porches only have seating for 2 people. and no table to dine outside to enjoy the view.

We are so glad we decided to stay at your condo for our vacation this summer! The view was breath taking and the cost was not prohibitive. We have recommended you to many of our friends and relatives to stay there. There were at least five spiders in the downstairs bedroom each night that we had to exterminate before going to sleep because they were on the ceiling above the bed. Either the exterminator or the housekeeper needs to address this in the unit. Otherwise, the stay was very nice. The 10am checkout time is too early. We felt rushed to have breakfast, get packed, and run the dishwasher. A 12pm checkout time would have helped out.
