Description: Anglers Lodge home is tucked into a delightful, wooded setting, feeling like a treehouse, and across the street from the indoor pool with hot tub, fitness center and clubhouse. This home is thoughtfully furnished and comfortably appointed. Its features include upscale kitchen appliances with granite countertop, and everything needed to prepare a meal at the large dining room table. The living room is bright and inviting with lots of windows, TV, and a cozy gas log fireplace. Rest and read a book, watch a movie and curl up in front of the fireplace while sipping hot cocoa, or play a board game. The choice is yours! Venture to the deck and enjoy the sounds of nature and prepare a meal on the grill. The primary bedroom is spacious and located on the main floor with access to the deck and primary bathroom suite with a shower stall and whirlpool bath to soak all your troubles away. The main floor is also where one guest bedroom and another bathroom is. The upstairs loft bedroom is spacious with a guest bathroom and the downstairs open area features more sleeping space, a bathroom, and the laundry room. Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University. 1) Chandelier - Two of us nearly banged into the sharp metal chandelier getting up from the table. It needs to be pulled up higher or even just replaced. It is a safety issue.
2) Seating - The house advertises that it can sleep 10, but there were only 8 chairs at the table and seats for 6 or 7 in the LR. We only had 8 people sleeping there, but had a couple other family members who were staying nearby j
We have stayed in cabins at Echota on the Ridge and Echota and this was one of our favorite places. The cabin was super clean, very roomy and all the beds were comfortable.
We love the information provided by Foscoe Rentals for check in and out. They always have great customer service.
We would definitely rent this cabin again.
Parking at Angler's Lodge is very limited.
