Great property, it was our second time there! Only comments are the following:
1. May want to put up some bat houses somewhere on the property that is away from the porch. There were 4 or 5 bats that would hole up there every night and leave a significant amount of guano on the back porch.
2. In the directions for using the house with regard to trash, it said that trash would be picked up every Monday, we were there for 4 weeks and only experienced two trash pickups after we called the home office. - Not

Loved the property! However we did notice some mouse droppings during our stay. No big deal, we live in a wooded area in our regular home and get that it happens.

The house was great! The location was beautiful. However, there is a bat that lives on the back covered porch. He was there along with a very large pile of bat poop on the porch and in the chair below him, so weren't able to use the back porch which was disappointing. I respect nature and his home, but it would be great if the poop could be cleaned up before guests arrive. Other than that, we loved this rental!

Lovely house with everything you need. Very clean. FR was very responsive to a couple of minor issues and even credited me for hot tub issue without my asking.

The house was very clean and linens and kitchen appliances were very efficient. Hot tub was clean. Did not use grill or firepit due to nasty weather.

Red Roof was a great place to stay and we hope we can stay there again soon. We absolutely loved it.
However I have one recommendation. The gas grill is located off the porch next to drive way. The ground is covered with leaves and pine needles. If there is a spark or fire hits the ground from the grill in dry conditions there will be a damaging fire. I was uncomfortable grilling there.
Thank you

We had a wonderful time at the Red Roof Retreat! It was perfectly spacious, welcoming, and comfortable. There were more TVs than people, which was quite impressive to the kids. This rental is so easy to get to, and the yard and propane fire pit were a great plus. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. I wanted to pick up the sun room and bring it home with me! I can't possibly say enough good things

We have stayed in several cabins over the years and the Red Roof Retreat was one of the nicest. We liked the layout of the cabin, the cabin was clean, the level parking was great, the heating/air conditioning system stayed on whatever temperature we selected, there was plenty of hot water and the kitchen was very well equipped. The only problem we had was with the television but Heather came out and took care of that problem for us. We would recommend this cabin to anyone that "just wants to get away fro

We really enjoyed staying here. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. We enjoyed the porches and the fire pit when it wasn't raining.

This was a wonderful property with the most calming landscaping. I spent evenings and morning sitting on the porch reading. The sound of the creek while I was reading just eroded the stresses of 2020 away. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to relieve the stress of this year.

This property was in a great location, and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The house was very nice and inside was maintained well. The only complaints I have was something smelled moldy in both the closets downstairs. And the shower curtains (both downstairs and upstairs) were covered at the bottom with a light peach/pick mold residue. They may have been clean and just stained but it wasn't pleasant to see as a guest.

Wade Awhile is gorgeous! I didn't realize the creek was right at the back of the property, and the river just steps away. Absolutely beautiful spot in Valle Crucis, and the house is wonderful. Will definitely rent it again!

The house was spotless and very comfortable. The only complaint, which is a minor one, is that it was very difficult to get connected to the wireless. I got booted off often and the regular Verizon signal was poor so I couldn't really use the internet unless I was connected to the wireless. I would enjoy staying here again! It was great for our son because of the minimal traffic and the fenced in yard. He enjoyed playing in the snow in the backyard.

We booked this rental last minute for Hurricane Irma evacuation. Chris was more than helpful in getting us a place on short notice and very accommodating. Our rental house was very clean and we would definitely return. Would highly recommend Foscoe Rentals!!!

We came with a plan to use the advertised grill. When we got to the property and there were signs informing us that we could not use the grill, we were not only disappointed but we ate out a lot more than planned, which cost us quite a bit more. If the grill is not to be available, it shouldn't be advertised. We would have gone with a different property if we had know.

Everything was wonderful! The grass did needed mowing but that's not the end of the world. A hair dryer and a larger crock pot would have been nice but we managed. Thanks for being so easy to work with and allowing us to spend a relaxing week in the beautiful NC High County!

Wade Awhile was a wonderful house and property for our vacation with two families (4 adults and 3 children). The house and property are beautiful, clean and well maintained. Being so close to the river was great for fishing and having a small stream in the yard was fun for the kids and wonderful to hear from the house at night. The kids had a great loft area to sleep and hang out. We also had the separate seating area with a large tv in the office/dining room/sitting room. The sofa in this extra room wa
