The unit could use a good deep cleaning. Windows and screens were dirty. Light fixtures / pendants in kitchen and dining were dull with dust and grime. Closets had unfolded blankets and other items strewn about. Towels need to be replaced they were limp and showed wear. Master bedroom quilt on bed was all wrinkled and unattractive in appearance , needed to be cleaned and pressed. Extra lighting in the living room would have been nice
Appreciated the snack tables.
Appreciated the full size washer and dryer

The only negative is the bunk bed combo was not comfortable. Mattress with vinyl liner not a fan. Better to have 2 regular beds or Queen.

The pool situation was very different than when we have been there in the past. Several afternoons, there were no chairs or chaises available. One family in particular had put towels on several chairs that they never even used just to hold them. It was disappointing not to be able to sit by the pool.

I would like to recommend there be safety bars in all bathrooms. We had one 92 year old walker dependent and one came dependent, and there were no safety measures to prevent falls. That said, we've come every year since I think 2014. We love Echota on the Ridge!

We had a two night stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable. However, on our first night, at around 1AM the smoke detector began to chirp that it needed a new battery. We called the emergency number but they left us hanging, saying simply that it wasn't an emergency and we would have to wait until 9am when the office opened for any assistance. We tried, unsuccessfully, to stop the beeping ourselves, in the middle of the night. At 9am, the office reached out promptly but all 6 of us there that night did

The stay was great. Our children loved it, especially the bunk bed and the indoor pool. The view was great. We will definitely be back.

The pans in the kitchen have damaged nonstick surfaces. This isn't really safe for cooking.

We were very impressed by this property's kitchen. Given the pandemic, we planned to cook in two nights. This is one of the most well-appointed kitchens of any rental property we've stayed in. It had everything we needed from a cheese grater to Tupperware. I would also add that the infrastructure of this property exceeded our expectations. The development feels very remote but when the power went off the first night we were there (presumably due to ice) it was back on within 45 minutes. There was also a sno

We loved the condo. It had everything we needed.
We noticed a couple of maintenance items that needed to be addressed.
1. The screen doors leading to the deck had large holes at the bottom
2. The ceiling fan in the bedroom with the bunk bed rattled severely. I thought it would come off the ceiling. Very noisy too.
Thanks

The view from the unit was incredible. The unit was very clean and well maintained. Plenty of soap, paper products etc for the four days that we were there. Everyone we met on property was very friendly and helpful. The next door neighbor was particularly friendly and gave us her card in case we had any questions.

Property was very nice. Only complaint was on the kitchen. Pans, baking sheets, etc were really bad and or sparse. Spend a $100 on new pans and baking sheets and would have made a huge difference for us. Also the coffee pot was really and an really bad shape. Again these are really small issues to fix but are a big part of our stay and enjoyment.

Beds were very comfortable.

The condo could use a new paint job. There are numerous scuff marks on the walls.
Other than that everything was exceptional! I will be calling in the very near future to reserve RL6 for next summer!

Kitchen was significantly lacking compared with previous stays (our 4th year at Echota on the Ridge). Making simple meals was very difficult. In addition, this is the first year where household basics were not included (shampoo, conditioner, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, spices). I recognize it's ultimately up to each owner, but there were several times we had to leave the unit in frustration to drive down the mountain to get some very basic things that have ALWAYS been included

Beautiful condo. We wish there had been somewhere on site to get a few things....like a 2 liter or toothbrush. There was also an unfortunate incident with a neighbor who yelled at my kid and myself that put a damper on the end of our stay. It was a lovely place and we would recommend. The pool was outstanding.

Great location and view. Elevator was a big help loading in and out.
Kitchen could have use and electric fry pan or griddle for making pancakes.

I was surprised that there was a bunk bed in the room wher photos showed two twin beds. It's not enough to have us think poorly of the property but it would have been nice to have seen the room shown correctly.
Other than than, we loved the location and the property I will recommend this property to friends in the future.

The only issue was the GFCI receptical in the kitchen kept tripping. It had an adaptor feeding the wifi router.
Maybe they should add a label above the receptical with instructions on pushing the reset button if the internet goes out.

I speak for all five visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed this apartment with a fantastic view. And we will be back next May with two more to stay in your place on Devil's Mountain.

Condo was extremely clean, well kept, and comfortable. The only thing that wierded me out is that there were no liners on the pillows...just one pillowcase. Being able to see any stains left by other guests or being able to touch the inner pillow doesn't feel very clean to me. The master mattress is extremely firm, which was a little bit tough on our backs...we adored everything else about this particular condo but that.

Wonderful unit! We would recommend additional pillows for the master bedroom, 2 flat pillows total for a master is very scarce.

The hot water heater was not functioning properly. You could only fill 1/2 a tub before running out. Maintenance was dispatched, but they only turned on the hot water to see if it worked. There were only two of us there and we could not shower in sequence. For a 3 bedroom with potentially more quests - that was unacceptable.

Also, the elevator wasn't working. That was one of the bonuses for choosing a top floor unit.

The neighbors below us RUINED our stay. We actually had to call the Sheriff on Friday night as they were drinking and loud and 5 guys were staying there and all on the patio ruining our trip. They woke up our daughter numerous times throughout the night until we had a enough and called the cops at 12pm or 1am time frame. The guests below us are actual condo owners or relatives as I confronted them the next day. This units owner needs to address this or this condo would be pulled off the rental market du

The fireplace did not work correctly and as it would happen it snowed and would have been great to benefit from this amenity. This kind of put a damper on the stay as this was a quick holiday stay and unfortunately maintenance was not available. I believe this type of amenity should be checked before rental.

The pillows are not very supportive.
The kitchen is sparsely equipped.
The rug in the MBR has a pungent odor -- we had to store it in the laundry room but it was still odorous to walk by that room.
Amenities: There are so many dogs on the property that the rule precluding condo renters from having dogs is specious at best. We would love to rent a condo for two months in the summer but having to leave our little dog in a kennel prevents it.

We reported an out of service elevator and it took three da

We bought a few things for the kitchen and left them . Glass doors had not been cleaned when we got there. The air conditioner vent was covered in dust when we got there and we cleaned the vent and changed the air filter. It needed to be changed months before we got there.
