We love Echota and (for the most part) this condo. Last year we complained that the lanai furniture was inadequate (missing tabletop, missing cushions). We complained again on arrival this year and we were told that new furniture was on its way. 4 chairs and a table arrived from Thailand in one box approximately 8"x4'x3'! Echota assembled it. We checked online and the cost for that 5 piece set was $150. The chairs were small and not comfortable. In fact, it was the same set that had been there before

Our original reservation was for 9 nights. Unfortunately, we had to return to Austin to attend a very close friend's funeral a day early. She passed away suddenly from a complication related to COVID. We were disappointed to leave early...but, it was important that we participate in our friend's service. We were not refunded our last night's rent because it was not re-rented.

The porch furniture was not very comfortable and only 2 people could sit around the porch table. It was very comfortable for 4 people but 6 people would not have enough comfortable seats in the living room. I would have liked a couple of stainless steel frying pans. (All that were there were nonstick. Basically we loved it.(We brought our own chairs because we had read it was not very comfortable on the porch. They had new furniture but still not enough seats for the table and the ones that were there were

This property was beautiful, clean, and cozy! It had everything we needed and more! I do want to note that the mater bedroom fan was loose and clanging when on so we left it off the entire trip and called the rental company so they could fix it. Also, the day we were leaving, my husband sat on the bedside to put his shoes on, and the railing supporting the mattress came unscrewed and fell. Luckily we were already leaving and I was able to add that to my work order when I called the rental company on checkou

We loved the quiet and beauty of the area as well as the end unit location, very peaceful. The couch should be front facing in the family to garner the view! The spacious home and beautiful floors led to a beautiful retreat for a few days. Our comments about the property which need a look at are below.

The kitchen was not as well equipped as I expected. Very few utensils and no serving spoons were with the "mix-match" cutlery. Not knowing how "well" equipped the kitchen would be...I brought a number of my own utensils...but, had to buy a couple of large cooking spoons. The trash can was the size for a bedroom or bathroom. When we bought the extra kitchen spoons (which we brought home with us) we also bought a larger trash can that we left in front of the washer with the soiled towels.

I have previously rented a condo in Echota on the Ridge in 2010-20111 while attending Appalachian State. It was a beautiful and wonderful place to live not far from
Anything I needed. When planning this trip for my family it was never a question that we would stay here in Echota. The house and views were amazing. The layout was functional for us. I would say the only thing somewhat lacking was pots and pans. We cooked breakfast and dinner in the condo and did not have the right/enough equipment for basic b

We enjoyed our stay very much!! The only concern I had was when we dropped the keys in the drop box due to leaving early. It bothered me that someone else could open the box and get the keys out. Just a little concerned. Thanks so much for everything! Janice
