This condo features a covered front entry and rear deck with an amazing mountain view. The view can be admired from the deck or from the large picture windows in the open kitchen and living room areas. The kitchen features custom kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops, hardwood floors, and stainless-steel appliances. It is fully equipped with everything to prepare a meal inside or outside on the built-in-gas grill. The living room is cozy and inviting with a cultured stone gas fireplace, hardwood floors, comfortable furniture and a TV. The primary bedroom is spacious and inviting with a mountain view and TV. The primary bath is set up for relaxation with his and her sinks and a gorgeous tile shower. The guest rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated each with bathrooms attached. The bathrooms are upgraded with ceramic tile flooring. Stay for a weekend to relax or an extended period and enjoy all the High Country has to offer. This condo is on the bottom floor (downstairs) with an elevator. In case of power outages or elevator equipment malfunctions, the condo will be stair access only.

Anytime you want to grant us access to the brand new pool just steps away just let us know. :-)
The only things I can think of for improvement are very minor: the filter for the frig needs replacement. When we arrived, it dinged incessantly every time we got ice or water alerting it needed replacement. We have this same model frig at home so we knew that to silence all the alarms, just remove and reinstall the filter.
I would definitely stay again!
I'm not sure the unit was worth what we paid, in the end. It just seemed a bit high. Not sure I'd stay in that unit again for the price. We've stayed in other units (some via VRBO) in Echota and the rates were a bit more reasonable. I needed a 3BR mostly on 1-level, and that's why we re
Shower water pressure could be stronger
We had to fix 2 stools to make usable
A couple comments:
1) second place we have stayed with a grill we wanted to use but was to dirty to use.
2) dishes washed and put away by 10am leads to half washed dishes in cupboard. We learned to wash dishes as soon as we get there due to number not clean
3) we understand there is a 10% military discount. I have put on my reservation each time that my wife is a veteran, but cannot see that we got the discount.
Overall, we love coming

We had to buy a can opener for the condo.
Recommend 2 additional rocking chairs on porch or
more comfortable porch furniture.
It was also unfortunate that the Watauga River was 'closed' for wading/fishing. Our boys really wanted to throw rocks and play in the river but weren't able to. I
We loved the condo and thought it was decorated beautifully. The fans in each room were great and the view was very nice. We had seven people and the living area was a bit small, but it worked
